Travelling to barcelona is a good opportunity to test drive mz sennheiser PXC 450 noise cancelling headphone.....

This device is just truly awsome......There 50 people and additional noise caused by the cleaning people.... I JUST DON'T HEAR THEM........I can onlz listen to Steve roach 'sTerraform CD.....

I highly recommend these haedphones....Zou can focus on what you are doing and just ignore the whole world......

Well I started working on the most ambitious project ever(in the computer world)

I have got 6 weeks to build a working stable prototype......This is a very short period .....and the stakes are high

The outcome can change everything.....

That's it......gone I was flying too high in the garden when the wind stepped in.....

I did have enough energy to fly "tail in the wind" so the CX was flying away from me then......

it was soon out of reach of the controller.......welllll......no signal means everything stops right away....

fell from 15 meters at least......into my neighbour garden.....

I put a letter into their postal box.....

I am pessimistic......

 

Lesson learned:

1. don't fly in windy conditions
2. never fly with untrimmed rudder
3. practice emergency situations with the simulator
4. buy a powerful engine.....

I will miss it

wawww 2007 is gone......I am back in luxemburg ......working on new documents this evening.....

 

I am also listening to craig padillas,s vostok on my new sennheiser PXC 450....I must say this is an amazing experience.....these headphones are truly great....they manage to isolate your ears from externalk noises......they also feature active noise cancelling technology that will wipe out reactor plane noise...

I just learned that my document is accepted by SANS.....weeewww. At least I did not spend hours writing for nothing.....

What else....I am looking forward to 2008........new projects, meeting amazing people..... a new car.....

and yes....avoiding ticks/Lyme in my garden.....

alright chaps....I am blogging from a taxi in warsaw.... I was too busy working to do anything else..sad however I like these people...men are friendly.....women...huum....they are mysterious and inspire lust.... looking forward to go back for sure....

Finally everything is running fine.....I had some intial fear when the DVD bay refused to  eject.....I fixed the problem by adjusting the faceplate ! wwwwwwweeeeeee....

Although the xbox does not run the lastest firmware(helene is browsing the internet wired.....for obvious reasons)

One word : "awsome"

MIII, King Kong...the pictures look so bright, neat, crisp....you can see actor's skin details,

HDI interface is amazing........for those who don't know the HD DVD "menu" IS A COMPLETE run time....

whereas DVD is only video and audio.

Next step will be to watch V for Vendetta and batman begins.......

Finally my brand new xbox 360 landed at my parents' house Monday......weeew

Tonight I will be reconnecting everything and hopefully watch my first ever HD DVD on my beautiful Pioneer Plasma screen.....

A UPS truck woke my parents up claiming my xbox without any prior notice.......

The procedure described in part one has not been executed though ! huum

 

In the end they will come back and pick the xbox today 9am.....hopefully I will get a new one by end of the week.....

 

Today while struggling to get my UPS Shipping label for my dead xbox I learned that B2B application between UPS and MS is dramatically flawled!

MS sent me a mail with a link to an UPS Shipping Label.....The link is not working and after spending 2 hours with UPS on the phone I have been told to ask MS to switch to the competition or an alternative method ....WTC !??

UPS acknowldeged a bug in their B2B application with MS but nobody warned me upfront about other shiping methods.....not to mention the MS Support's dump ass who had no clue whatsoever..

In short I will get a postal letter "jurassic stone age method" within 4 days then UPS will come over and pick my box then 4 days latter MS Germany will ship a new Box that will land next to my plasma 5 days later....

 

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahy I am going to kill somebody.....

weird week end....around 2am saturday I was finishing wiring my new HD DVD to the xbox when the red ing of death struck my xbox.....

I watched the circle for two or three minutes I would not believe it. I tried everything but it was hopeless....

Sad....within one hour I will call the support to get a replacement unit by end of the week...or before

there is one thing I learned about borovia vodka.......avoid it like hell.....

I drank two glasses then 2 hours later my stomach was screwed.....

I threw everything out the whole night then eventually got some sleep......in the mean time helen was of course was pissed off !!!

For a second I thought I would never want to drink any vodka......

 

that thought vanished in the morning and I will buy some apeach bottle

alright.....I can't believe it! I setup Virtual PC 2007 beta on my Vista RTM.....I struggled and failed to even launch any machine on my fujitsu portable.

 

I tried then to install virtual server R2 and got stuck due to IIS misconfiguration....

I am running out of time so I had no choice but to install VMWare.....yeah and it just works....well

 

I will go back to VPV 2007 when the build is stable.........on Vista

I played gears for 20 minutes between updating my sans document and getting some sleep.

awsome game....dark,violent but you need to get used to the controls...

 

on another story I moved to a new place in osweiler.......where I have a bigger room, private toilet and bath,kitchen, satelite TV AND AND AND BROADBAND WIFI FOR FREE...Great

There is also an additional room with 2 beds....oh I almost forgot the fridge.

The downside is getting there! I don't know how I managed to find the place without a GPS....

It's a farm in the middle of nowhere...it reminded me south virginia but 10 miles away from germany.

I played COD3 but went mad when somebody in french asked me to "lance ta grenade !"...

I was shocked and got my money back......until I get a UK version...

In the meantime my friends offered me an HD DVD for xbox.......

 

chrismas will be "v for vendetta" and "batman begins"
